The Garden
Le Jardin |
 The house is set in a 2 000m2
enclosed garden - well fenced with a gate between the drive and the road. This
makes it a very safe garden for young children. There are a number of shady
trees and shrubs. Attached to the house is a small covered area and there is a
line for drying washing. There is a paved patio at the front and both sides of
the house and the remainder of the garden is lawn with a few shallow steps to a
slightly higher level.There is a barbecue for those outdoor gourmets and an outdoor table, chairs and sun-loungers. |
 La maison est entourée
d'un jardin clos de 2 000m2. Le jardin est sécurisé pour les
petits avec un clôture complet. Il-y-a beaucoup des arbres qui donnent de
l'ombre. Près de la maison il y a la maison est un petit salon de jardin
et il y a une corde à linge. Au trois côtés de la maison il
y a un pavage et le reste est en pelouse, plate-bande et arbres accessible par
un escalier pavé. On peut aussi utiliser le barbecue pour les gourmets
de plein air, une table, des chaises et lits de plage.

Reception

The first room you enter is the
Reception area with its large wooden table and benches. This is the central
area of the ground floor. There is a stereo-system with tuner/amplifier, CD and cassette player. The telephone, also here, is available for calls within the départment of Morbihan. It can be used for longer distance calls but you will need a pre-paid call card - available from e newpaper shop, tobacconist or most supermarkets. There is also a large open fireplace. |

La pièce d'accueil avec sa
grande table de bois et ses bancs est au centre du rez de chaussée. Il y
a une chaine hi-fi avec ampli-tuner, et lecteurs CD et cassette. La
téléphone se trouve disponible pour les coups de fil
départementaux mais pour ailleurs on a besoin de'une carte d'appel. On
peut l'acheter dans les maisons de la presse, les tabacs et
supermarchés. Il y a aussi, un cheminée. |

The kitchen fully-fitted and is equipped
with a sink, dish-washer, microwave oven, a gas hob with extractor hood and a
electric self-cleaning oven. There is direct access to the dining area from the kitchen. In the adjoining utility room there is a washing machine, a large ceramic sink and cleaning materials with a door to the rear of the house. |

La cuisine est totalement
aménagée, est equipée d'un évier, un lave-vaiselle,
un four micro-ondes, une plaque de gaz avec une hotte aspirante et un four
électrique auto-nettoyant. Il y a accès directe de la cuisine à la salle à manger. La pièce voisine possède un lave-linge, un grand évier et les produits pour nettoyage. |

The sitting room is furnished with a
number of sofas and armchairs. There is a television. Stairs from here lead up
to the mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and triangular window in a unique
position within the roof space and eaves of this timber-framed extension. The
large, floor to ceiling windows are curtaine and have exterior shutter blinds
operated from the inside.

fauteuils et canapés. Il-y-a un téléviseur. Escalier donne
accès à la chambre mezzanine avec son grand lit et une
fenêtre triangulaire. Cet espace est uniquement située dans
l'éspace du toit.

On the ground floor, opposite a
bathroom, this bedroom is separated from the rest of the ground floor by a
small corridor. There is a wardrobe and a double bed. There is also direct
access to the garen through the sliding floor to ceiling windows.

l'hébergement par une petite couloir. Il y a une garderobe et un grand
lit. Il y a, aussi, accès directe au jardin par la porte-fenêtre

Above the reception area this is the
original first floor of the house. The bedroom is at the top of stairs from the
reception area. It has its own en-suite bathroom and toilet. There is a small
window overlooking the front garden and an easily accessible roof window giving
views over the surrounding countryside. There is a double bed and a single bed.
A small room off this bedroom can be used to store larger items. There is a
wooden cot for a young child in this room.

Au-dessus de l'accueil cette
chambre est le premier étage de la maison ancienne. L'escalier d'accueil
aboutit à cette chambre avec son grand lit et un lit pour une personne.
Il y a une salle de bain en suite avec toilette. Une petite fenêtre a vue
sur le jardin arrière et il y a une fenêtre en toit (facile a
ouvrir) qui donne les vues de la campagne. On peut utiliser une autre petit
grenier pour laisser les articles plus grands. Il-y-a un lit-bébé
ici.

There are two bathrooms, one on each
floor. The downstairs bathroom has a large bath and a separate shower, two wash
basins and a large mirror. The downstairs toilet is in a separate adjacent
room. The upstairs bathroom has a large bath, a wash basin and toilet. Both
bathrooms are simply but beautifully decorated.

Il y a deux salles de bain, une
en haut, et une en bas. Le salle de bain bas a une grande baignoire, une douche
à part, deux lavabos et un grand miroir. Les toilettes sont
situées dans une chambre adjacente. Le bain haut possède une
grand baignoire, une lavabo et une toilette. Les deux salles de bain est bien,
mais simplement, decorée.

Electricity, Gas, Water

There is mains electricity throughout
the house. It is at the standard European voltage of 230V at 50hz. Appliances
usable in other countries of the EU will work here. North American appliances
will need a step-down transformer, or be dual-voltage to be used here. Sockets
are of the standard French style using two or three pins. Guests are advised to
bring appropriate conversion plugs with them. Electricity up to 56kw/h per week
is included in the rental, any more is charged extra at the Electricité
de France rate at the time. The water is heated by electricity and room heating, if needed, is by electric radiator in each room. The ovens are electric but the cooking hob uses gas supplied by an easily changed bottle in the room next to the kitchen. Gas is charged at a rate depending on the number of people using the gîte. (See Reservation)<.BR>Waste water is piped to a septic tank and guests are asked not to place anything other than toilet tissue in the toilets. Guests are asked to leave the house swept and clean at the end of their stay. Cleaning equipment and materials are provided. |
L'electricité est à
220V en commun avec le EU. Les appareils d'Amerique du Nord a besoin d'un
transformateur ou capable d'opération a 220V. Les prises de courrant
sont le type commun en France avec deux ou trois épingles. On conseille
aux clients d'apporter des fiches pour conversion. Electricité plus de
56kw/h la semaine est facturé en accord avec le tarif EDF en vigeur. L'eau est chauffée par électricité et le chauffage des chambres, si nécessaire, avec des radiateurs électriques en chaque chambre. Les fours sont électriques, mais il-y-a une plaque de gaz avec une bouteille de gaz qui est changée facilement en la chambre adjacente à la cuisine. Le tuyau d'evacuation est a la fosse septique, donc on demande aux clients de n'utiliser seulement du papier hygénique dans les WCs. Nous vous prions de laisser la maison propre et nette. Des produits d'entretiens et l'équipement necessaire sont fournis. |
